This drum has an interesting story in that the Single Ply shell was discovered and then salvaged by DrumPickers. It now features black nickel hardware along with the camo snake skin wrap. The hoops are 2.3mm triple flanged black nickel, and the strainer system is an INDe black nickel system, offering unparalleled smooth engagement of the snares. It also features black steel tension rods, 8 black nickel bare bell lugs, providing even tension all the way around. The Evans UV1 batter head seats perfectly on the rounded bearing edges that are perfectly smooth as well, giving the drum the most beautiful, gorgeous tone one could request.
This drum is possibly an heirloom to someone, as it’s absolutely ideal for studio recording.
