This listing is for a Yamaha 14x5.5” Maple Custom Snare Drum in Gloss Natural Maple Finish that’s in excellent condition as it’s manufactured date (according to the serial number) is 10/91.
This is the Yamaha "Maple Custom," which sadly ceased production in 2009. It is now out of production and is a difficult snare drum model to obtain.

Since this model maximizes the natural resonance of the maple body, it produces a round and deep low sound, as well as a warm and soft sound. It is a snare drum that responds to a wide range, from delicate pianissimo rolls to crisp passages.
