This listing is for a Zildjian 18” Oriental Classic China Cymbal that’s in near mint condition and would be if the label wasn’t slightly fading. This cymbal is in absolutely perfect condition and without the slightest flaw anywhere.
The cymbal features a dramatic, swooping and very broad upturned lip in a truly authentic, original Chinese fashion. Together with a unique hammering technique and thin taper, the Classic Chinas produce a fabulous, explosive "China" sound with richness and full-bodied, yet trashy overtones.
These particular cymbals are increasingly difficult to find, especially in this condition.
