This drum features 8 polished brass bare bell lugs, and matching brass hoops, tension rods, vent, strainer system, and snare wires. The shell itself consists of four plys of maple, which come together at a 45 degree bearing edge.
The tone is predictably warm, yet punches through the mix with distinction. You can get some great rim shots on the 2.3mm Slingerland style hoops. Ideal for pop, rock, country, funk, and gospel music.
