This drum could be considered our Masterpiece in that it’s tone is as crisp and powerful as we’ve ever heard. With only 4 plies, the combination Walnut/Mahogany/Maple bellows out the most gorgeous tone, with sensitivity that would make Ravel’s Bolero take a mulligan. For added power & strength, we’ve added 2.3mm triple flange hoops, and two ply maple reinforcement rings to the shell.
Then there’s the attractive nature of this drum. Adorned in black chrome hoops, and dual tension adjustments, the 20 standard chrome tube lugs jewel the outside shell, while all of this contributes to the most precise tuning one can create.
