This snare drum features a quarter inch shell that consists of two one-eighth inch, steam bent plies of aspen wood. The semi-solid two ply steam bent drum also includes eight single point tube lugs with black steel tension rods, 2.3mm triple flanged hoops, 20-strand German made and tensiled snare wires, and a Trick style throw-off.
The drum has a beautiful, full, open range in tuning, controlled and focused attack, and showcases a powerful, warm tone throughout all tunings.
