This listing is for a vintage Slingerland 1960’s 8 Lug 14x5.5” Snare Drum in Blue Duco finish. The drum is an African Mahogany shell with maple reinforcement rings. Chrome still looks fantastic and the finish on the drum is in great condition with the exception of one spot to the top right of the badge (just beyond the lug that squares in the badge).
The drum has a new calf head batter, and the triple point strainer works flawlessly. It sounds absolutely wonderful with the stick-chopper hoops (with the snare side having snare guards on the hoop).
These drums don’t often look and sound this good for their age. You’ll want to grab this while you can!
