This listing is for a Vintage 1980 14x5” Ludwig Acrolite Snare Drum that’s in virtually mint condition, with the very small exception of a couple scratches to the left of the butt plate (highlighted in one of the pictures).
Acrolite Originally introduced in 1963 as a student drum, the Ludwig Acrolite quickly became the choice of pro players in need of dry, cracking snare tone. This Ludwig Acrolite features a seamless, beaded, brushed-aluminum shell, along with 2.3mm hoops, and nylon washers on all tension rods. Made in Monroe, North Carolina, USA. The Acrolite features chrome Classic Bow tie dual snare lugs, a P85 strainer, and a pointed Blue/Olive Badge.
