This listing is for a Vintage 1982 Ludwig Acrolite Snare Drum that’s in very good condition. The snare drum works perfectly as the muffler does it’s job, the throw off works well, and with the Pearl snare wires and Remo Ambassador batter head, you get exactly what you expect from this classic workhorse.
It’s that classic Ludwig Sound, that’s been priceless for so many drummers over the years. The butt side was replaced with a fairly close copy of the original Ludwig butt side, and as we’ve stated, the Pearl snare wires were substituted for the original Ludwig 12-Strand, but this a great drum with years left to go on it.
